Photos from the 21st St. Anne’s Festival are online
Saturday 25 July turned out in Jizerka exactly the way a village fair should: blue sky, warm weather and the meadow behind the Pyramida full of people from morning until evening.
The festival opened at 10:30 with the arrival of glassworks founder F. A. Riedel and a blessing. After that the programme never stopped — gold panning in the Jizerka brook, where whole families took turns at the water, the 18th Poacher Hennrich Memorial and the 13th Pentaski Loppet, where five people share a single pair of skis.
Glass figurines were made in the hall of the old glassworks all day, craftsmen showed work in wood and metal outside, and an old Bohemian fairground band walked between the stalls with the barrel organ player from the North Bohemian Museum in Liberec. Children had workshops, a marble run, face painting and three fairy tales.
Twenty photos from this year are in the gallery on the festival page. Every photo opens in full size.

Thank you to everyone who came — to the stallholders, musicians and volunteers. The 22nd St. Anne’s Festival will take place on Saturday 24 July 2027.
